Hello dear readers,
Here’s a little silent diary comic I drew as a break from some longer stories. I’m always trying to learn how to draw faster. I’ll be posting more diary comics soon.

Hello dear readers,

littlebigedie asked: You've probably had a lot of people ask, but do you plan to ever sell any of your embroidery comics (or any of the others)? Your artwork is amazing, and if you did plan to, I would think about buying something. Thanks.

Thank you so much for writing. I am planning on selling printed collections of my work soon. I’ve been saving up money, and figuring out the logistics of scanning and printing everything. My goal is to have a few books available in time for CAKE, along with some original embroideries, paintings, and prints. I’ll be making announcements soon!

"January Morning"

Embroidery on cross stitch fabric.

Hello dear readers,

I’ve taken a needle point break from drawing, to do this little diary embroidery. I have another planned, but I think I need to switch back to pencil and paper for just a bit. I wish there were one of me to embroider, and another to draw comics.

Thank you laurensouterraine for her color guidance.

Hello dearest readers,
I’ve been surmounted by cabin fever in the wilds of the midwest, but I am continuing to draw. I’m juggling a lot, but it’s exciting. I will be back with more comics soon.

Hello dear readers,

I’ve set up a new blog, for my sketches and abandoned comics pages. I thought it would be neat to show some of my process/embarrassing work, too. You can see this work and more on Andrewsketches.tumblr.com (at your own peril).

Also, I encourage anyone who is interested in comics to consider applying to Frank Santoro’s comics correspondence course. I am still finishing work for the course (sorry I am so behind!), but the course really reinvigorated my love for drawing and writing. It is challenging, but so rewarding. Please consider it!

Also, one of my older comics is now on Vice! The only way I could articulate my love for those games was in this disturbing cartoon. I hope you enjoy it!

Hello dear readers,

I am drawing up a storm, but I am very behind. Ay caramba.

December Morning

Embroidery on cross stitch fabric

Hello dear readers,

I am mired in drawing, so I took a break to embroider this little diary comic. I like embroidery because I can zone out for hours, trying to figure out my drawing affairs. I may have to take some better quality photos.

Here are my previous embroidered comics:

The Afterglow

Late Train

Playing Zelda

More drawn comics are forthcoming!

Dear readers,
I am honored to have my new comic, Weightless, appear on Vice. Please click the image to read the full comic!
This story is a continuation of these two comics: Losing, and Losing Part II.

Hello dear readers,

NY was wonderful. I traded all of my minicomics, but I’m currently printing and sewing the next batch. I will be making them available here very soon, along with some neat options for sketches and such.

I’ve been very busy drawing these last few weeks, but expect a lot of new work from me very soon! This new little comic is a loose continuation of this comic.

Time Wars: Episode One.

Hello dear readers,
I have finished my minicomic, copies of which I will be bringing to Comic Arts Brooklyn this weekend. 16 pages, color, and hand-stitched binding (by my girlfriend).
I will be printing more next week to be available for purchase here!

I’m drawing these small diary comics to loosen up for my minicomic and such. I was thinking of one of my favorite American Elf strips while drawing this one (wish I could remember the date).

"Two weeks"
colored pencils on green paper
I’ve been drawing a lot in preparation for Comic Arts Brookyln. I’m hoping to have a minicomic ready, so perhaps I will see you there!
Edit- purry, The line is written as I intended, but I suppose that could work, too!
